Some points to ponder:

(1)Note the Nile River in Northeast Africa.  What is the significance of this?

(2)Can the viewer trace the route of the Trans-Siberian Railroad?  It does appear that major transportation systems, such as highways, railroads, and waterways, do attract ever-alert developers!

(3)How about the dramatic difference between North and South Korea?  Does this tell us something about the variation between the capitalistic and communistic systems?

(4)It appears that about 80% of the Canadian population is situated very close to the U.S. border.  The more temperate climate is undoubtedly a significant factor here.
